Fireworks will be held at the Turner Center on Saturday, July 3rd. Gates will open at 7:30pm and the fireworks will begin at 9:15 pm. The Turner Center will be open for concessions and restrooms. For more information please call 863-993-4807.

Due to the 4th of July falling on Sunday this year, the fireworks at the Turner Center are scheduled for Saturday, July 3. The fireworks will begin at 9:15 pm. Gates will open for free parking in the Turner Center lot at 7:30 pm.

Our activities this year are in honor of our local military men and women.

The Turner Center staff is preparing a video montage of "messages from home" for military service personnel. If you have a loved one currently stationed abroad, call the Turner Center to arrange a time on June 28, 29 or 30 to visit our studio and record a one-minute video message to the soldier in your family. The edited montage will be viewable on the Turner Center website in time for the 4th of July. Anyone in the world with an internet connection will be able to watch the video.

Inside the Turner Center arena on July 3, a photo tribute to past and present military members will be presented on a large screen for public viewing. Please email to jsullivan@turnercenter.com photos of your past or present military family members. Include the person's name, rank, branch and years served. Copies of physical photos can be brought to the Turner Center between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm Monday through Friday. Deadline for submission is June 28. Please submit copies of photos, as the Turner Center cannot be responsible for lost or damaged original photos. Call the Turner Center for more information about any of these activities.
